Collagen biostimulators
A hyaluronic acid filler adds volume immediately. Biostimulators work differently: they encourage your skin to gradually produce its own collagen, a protein essential to firmness, support and skin quality.
So the result does not show right after the session. It builds naturally over weeks, sometimes months, as your skin makes new collagen. The effect is gradual, discreet and harmonious: people often notice you look well, without quite knowing why.
Depending on the area, skin quality and your goals, a protocol of 2 to 3 treatments is generally recommended. Results can last about 18 to 24 months.
Areas that can be treated
Biostimulators can be used to improve skin quality, firm tissue or restore lost support on the face and on certain areas of the body.
- Hollow temples.
- Cheeks, midface and diffuse volume loss.
- The area in front of the ears and the lower face.
- Facial contours and jawline.
- Nasolabial folds, marionette lines and some deeper wrinkles.
- Chin, depending on the assessment and the goal.
- Neck and décolleté, especially for thinner, crinkled or less firm skin.
- Back of the hands, when veins and tendons become more visible.
- Arms, abdomen, knees, buttocks and thighs, in selected cases, to improve skin texture, density and mild laxity.
Body indications, injection technique and the chosen product are assessed individually. Some uses may be off-label; they must be discussed with you during the consultation, based on the medical assessment.
Radiesse or Sculptra?
We use two biostimulators: Radiesse and Sculptra. Both stimulate natural collagen production, but they are selected according to the area and the desired result.

The choice between Radiesse and Sculptra depends on your anatomy, skin quality, the areas to treat and your expectations. In some cases, they can also be part of an overall treatment plan with other injectables or skin quality treatments.
