Most hair removal devices stop at fair skin. Past a certain tone the risk of burns is real, and clinics would rather decline. The Cynosure Elite iQ Pro is calibrated for every skin type, from the lightest to the deepest, which remains rare in the Outaouais.
It combines two wavelengths, letting it target different things depending on the setting: melanin in a hair, pigment in a spot, or blood in a small vessel. The Nd:YAG handles vascular lesions, the broken veins seen on the face as well as the legs.
Every session starts with a test on a small area. We adjust the settings to your skin before treating the full surface.
