What we collect, and why
- Contact form: your name, email, phone, the treatment you are interested in and your message. They are used to answer your request, nothing else.
- Newsletter: your first name, email, and the date and language of your sign-up. They are used to send you the newsletter, until you unsubscribe.
- Appointments: the information you enter in the booking portal is used to schedule your appointment.
- Gift card: your name, email and the amount, to send you the card. Payment is handled by our payment provider: we never see your card number.
- Technical data: like any website, the host records visitors’ IP address and browser, to run the site and protect it.
No medical information through the website
Do not send medical information through the website forms. Your treatment record is opened at the clinic, during a consultation, and follows the rules that apply to health records.
Who has access
Only the Clinique Paramédika staff who need them to answer you. We do not sell or rent your information. These services process it on our behalf:
- GoDaddy, website hosting (United States)
- Google, receiving contact form messages (Gmail) and audience measurement if you accept it (United States)
- Go High Level, sending the newsletter (United States)
- Clinique Master, online booking (Canada)
- Paystream, gift card payments (Canada)
Information processed outside Quebec
Some of these services store or process information outside Quebec, including in the United States. We choose them for their security measures, and they may use your information only to provide their service to us.
Cookies
The site keeps your cookie choice in your browser. It is the only thing stored without your consent, because it is needed to respect that choice.
The site uses no measurement or advertising tool at this time. If that changes, it will ask for your consent before loading anything, and this page will name the tool.
You can review your choice at any time with the “Manage cookies” link at the bottom of every page.
How long we keep it
Contact form requests are kept for two years, and newsletter sign-ups until you unsubscribe. After that, it is destroyed.
Your rights
You can ask to see the information we hold about you, have it corrected or destroyed, or withdraw your consent. Write to info@paramedika.info. We answer within 30 days. If our answer does not satisfy you, you may contact the Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec.
Security
The site is served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Only the people who need it can see the information we receive. If an incident creates a serious risk, we will notify you.
Children
The site is not intended for children under 14. We do not collect their information without a parent’s consent.
